When I met with Holly and Blake to talk about their wedding, and they told me that they were getting married with the alpacas - I was naturally intrigued! Not only these animals are super cute, but did you know that alpacas can not be on its own? It is a social animal and usually comes in pairs.

Describing themselves as 'fun and bubbly,' the atmosphere of their wedding reflected this in their chosen theme of a picnic style wedding at the Starline Alpacas in Broke. Holly said that they picked the alpacas farmstay for their wedding venue, for its "uniqueness" and because it allowed them to "DIY everything," therefore creating their wedding day just as they had envision it.

Starline Alpacas in the Hunter Valley provided plenty of space to lounge about in soft rugs and cushions, as well as partake in some wedding games. The venue also had plenty of natural and country backgrounds for couple portrait shoot.

It's always nice to talk to the bride and groom after their wedding has passed to reflect on the day, and to find out what they remember most about it. "Mine is popping the champagne bottle and Blake’s was seeing me walk down the aisle."

And any advice for future brides and groom? "Take time to yourselves even if it is just a few minutes, to really soak it all up. Trust me the day goes so quick!"
