This is a tricky one because the answer really depends on your venue, the time of day and the season.

That’s why we don’t simply give every couple the same list of locations. Some places may work amazing at sunset while others would be better if your photos are earlier in the day.

We like to do some location spotting and plan your photography around your actual wedding day, so we can recommend places that will work with the light and your timeline.

For many of the country venues, you won’t need to go anywhere at all. The venue itself becomes part of your wedding story.

At Glenworth Valley, for example, you have the horses, buffalo, paddocks and beautiful countryside right there.

At places such as Yarramalong Valley Farm Stay and Ravensdale Retreat, you can take advantage of those incredible mountain views towards the Watagan Mountains.

For coastal weddings, we love places such as Long Jetty, the rocky coastline around Avoca Beach, and Pearl Beach.

Putty Beach is a particular favourite for sunset — especially when the light starts to soften and the rocks and ocean take on that beautiful warm glow.

The important thing is not necessarily finding the most famous Central Coast photo location. It’s finding the right location for your wedding, your timeline and the light.

There is no bad time thanks for the beautiful climate but winter can be a bit chilly inland and with the shorter winter days, a place surrounded by mountain can get dark very quickly. Having said that fire pit are fun and so romantic!

Spring and Autumn always work well in mountain setting and if you have a beach ceremony, it is also nicer when it is not too hot.

Summer is always beautiful especially when you’re chasing those long, warm evenings and beautiful sunsets.

Just keep in mind that some of the more popular beach and coastal locations can be particularly busy during the school holidays, so it’s worth considering that when planning your wedding.

Winter has its own charm too. It can be a little chilly inland, and the shorter days mean that mountain and valley locations can lose the light surprisingly quickly. But there’s something pretty magical about a winter wedding with a fire pit, blankets and everyone gathered together. From a photography perspective, it can make for some incredibly cosy and atmospheric moments.

Our approach is candid and photojournalistic, which means we spend most of the day quietly observing and capturing moments as they naturally unfold. Rather than interrupting the day with constant directions, we allow your story to happen and we want you to enjoy spend time with your family, hug your friends, enjoy your reception, and celebrate!

We provide gentle guidance when needed, but we never overpose or force awkward positions.

We know that it is very common for wedding photographers to present styled shoots as their wedding portfolios.

Styled shoots are done under conditions that the photographer fully controls: professional models, no time constraint, no stress, no change of weather and a lot of take 2s!

Unfortunately, they do not accurately represent the ability of the photographer to work in real-life situations or the quality and style of photographs that will be delivered to a client.

We are proud that all the photographs you see on our portfolio were taken from real weddings with couples just like you. So what you see is what you get. We will help you relaxed, and all you have to do is live in the moment. Then we can create MAGIC together!

To secure your wedding date, we will send you your wedding contract, and we require a booking fee of $950.

Once everything is confirmed, your date is officially reserved, and we can start planning your wedding photography together.
