Saltwater Restaurant, Fingal Bay
Saltwater is perfectly named for couples who are looking for a surf and sand outlook for their wedding venue in Port Stephens with the great blue sea as a backdrop. Perched on top of Surf Life Saving Club overlooking Fingal Beach, Saltwater Restaurant boasts an open plan indoor/outdoor setting. Serving modern cuisine with an Asian twist, it’s popular with couples who want that casual yet elegant feel. Couples can opt to have their ceremony at the venue’s balcony or have it in one of Port Stephens’ many picturesque locations. A popular choice is Barry Park, Fingal Bay due to its proximity to Saltwater, as well as its beautiful and intimate location overlooking the water. It’s also perfect for a couple’s portrait location shoot right after the ceremony. Barry Park and its surroundings are especially breathtaking at sunset and we love capturing those amazing shots with our couples along the rocks. With Saltwater being so close to the beach, it is great for wedding entourage photos without going too far away so you can easily join your guests for the cocktails.

Heaven Gardens
A garden’s paradise set in Salt Ash, Port Stephens is a fairly new wedding venue that has quickly created a reputation for its versatility, is the beautiful Heaven Gardens. It is a unique wedding space and a masterpiece tended with constant passion and love for gardening. Owners, Barbara and Andrew are very hands-on and will guide you throughout the wedding process. They both want the whole wedding planning experience to be easy and relaxed for their couples. That’s why they offer many inclusions in Heaven Gardens wedding packages.
Couples can enjoy a truly romantic English style garden to a more exotic backdrop such as a rainforest garden. Like an artist’s canvas, it is ready to be transformed into your idea of a dream wedding. It is plain to see that Barbara and Andrew are both passionate about their venue and the couples who choose Heaven Gardens to celebrate their love. Barbara still sheds a tear whenever a couple exchanges their vows. It’s a testament that everything they do is heartfelt.

Tanilba House
A part of Port Stephens’ rich history, the grand Tanilba House, built in C1831, was recently lovingly restored by the owners, Glenn and Dee to an elegant wedding venue. With a fully enclosed conservatory and surrounding verandahs set within established gardens, it surprisingly has stunning views of the Bay. Little wonder that for a long time Glenn has had a longing for the beautiful Tanilba House and it was a dream come true when one day, Tanilba House, came on the market. Glenn and Dee just had to have this piece of history to take care of. It is a work in progress and like a wonderful tale, it is a place that possesses so many layers and keeps evolving.
People who visit Tanilba House is always impressed by its old-world elegance. It literally is stepping back in time when everything was made beautifully and embroidered with delicateness. Tanilba House has so many facets and there is a selection of spaces to choose from for your ceremony.
Valhalla Restaurant and Bar
For something mythical in the bay, Valhalla Restaurant and Bar is your stop. Named after one of the beautiful halls of Norse Gods, Valhalla at Bobs Farm is a perfect blend of Australian and Scandinavian influence. Famous for their delectable woodfired pizzas, you and your guests will be spoiled for choice with an array of authentic flavours while enjoying them in Valhalla’s iconic surroundings.
