A Stanley Park wedding on a beautiful winter’s day is just as romantic as sipping wine by a fireplace. Stanley Park is a historic grand estate located in Fullerton Cove. It is perfectly positioned between Newcastle and Port Stephens boasting a waterfront location, and a popular choice for couples who are planning a wedding with a flair of old-style elegance.

Under Stanley Park’s iconic Morton Fig tree, the couple exchanged their vows surrounded by closest family and friends. You’d have to see the size of this gigantic tree to believe it! It’s a fitting outdoor wedding ceremony location for its symbol of strength, endurance and nourishment.

Stanley Park is a venue where you can plan your whole wedding in one location. With its vast manicured lawns and a rustic barn, couples can have their wedding ceremony, wedding portraits and wedding reception without leaving the estate. Stanley Park also has a grand homestead that can accommodate wedding party and a select number of guests.

Jess and Matt’s Stanley Park wedding reception was held in the estate’s American style rustic barn. It’s a spacious space with a soaring high ceiling that’s solidly built out of iron, wood and timber. It is impressive on its own and has uninterrupted water views. Jess and Matt opted for an understated elegance when decorating their wedding reception making the most of their venue’s natural ambience.

Just before joining the wedding reception, we had our wedding party photos in front of the estate’s Victorian-style homestead. We did Jess and Matt’s wedding photos along the manicured lawns, as well as in the estate’s impressive interiors. We finished the wedding portrait shoot with the newlyweds quietly enjoying Stanley Park’s amazing sunset view. It was a perfect end to Jess and Matt’s wedding day, and a wonderful start to their celebration with family and friends.
