If your dream wedding involves a coastal venue where nature, tranquility, and stunning tropical gardens are the main attraction then look no further!

From the moment you drive through its entrance, The Oasis One Mile Beach evokes a sense of sanctuary, instantly filling you with peace and relaxation. Its coastal setting gives you the option of a beach ceremony or a ceremony in one of the venues’ beautiful garden areas. Another plus is that you and your wedding guests will enjoy exclusive access to the Oasis for over three days from Friday 2pm until Sunday 10am.

This is where The Oasis really is a great wedding location. You don't need to leave the property to create beautiful wedding photographs. The gardens, trees, cabins and natural surroundings give us plenty of variety, and everything feels wonderfully relaxed and natural.

If you'd like something different, we can head down to One Mile Beach for your couple portraits, particularly at sunset when the light is beautiful.

And if you're up for something a little more adventurous, we can take you to the dunes for those incredible, wide-open coastal photographs.

While it feels like, it’s a world away from everything, The Oasis is only a brief 10-minute drive away from Nelson Bay, and a mere 500m walking distance to One Mile Beach.

he wedding venue can cater for weddings for up to 80 people, and all their packages include accommodation for 18 people with additional accommodation available onsite for up to 50 people.

Owners, Dee and Glenn, have recently put in a lot of TLC in the spacious cabins. Among them, two cabins offer indulgent hot tubs, ideal for your romantic wedding suite and as a getting-ready space for your wedding party.

The reception spaces at The Oasis have a wonderfully relaxed, outdoor feel. The covered deck, fairy lights and trees growing through the roof create a setting that feels genuinely connected to the surrounding landscape.

There's also a large dance room and BBQ and kitchen facilities, giving couples plenty of flexibility to create a reception that feels personal rather than overly formal.

The accommodation at The Oasis gives us some lovely options for getting-ready wedding photography. The spacious cabins provide a relaxed place for you and your wedding party to get ready, and two of the cabins have hot tubs, which add another lovely element to the experience.

Because everyone is staying onsite, there's also much less rushing around on the morning of the wedding. You can take your time, enjoy being with your friends and family, and let us capture those little moments before the ceremony.

For us, it's the variety without the travel. Within a very small area, you have lush gardens, native bushland, beautiful accommodation, One Mile Beach and the dunes. That means we can create photographs that feel completely different from one another while keeping you close to your guests.

Because we are local Port Stephens photographers, we'll visit The Oasis and scout the light just before your wedding, so we know how to make the most of the location on the day.

During your wedding preparation meeting, we'll talk through your timeline and work out when it makes sense to head to the beach or dunes without taking you away from your celebration for too long.
