Springfield House Function Centre in Dural was the wedding venue of choice for Liron & Richard. Standing under a Chuppah (canopy) made from the prayer shawl of Liron’s late grandfather was one of many unique aspects that Liron & Richard included in their Progressive Jewish ceremony.

“The canopy symbolises the home that we would build together,” explained Liron. “And at that moment it was easy to imagine our lives together and the home that we would build; full of love and laughter.”

Liron remembers the emotion that she and her dad felt the first time he saw his only little girl in her wedding gown. “That day he shared with me some of his feelings and experiences from the day that I was born. For my dad and my mum, that day really did mark relinquishing the care of their baby girl that they had worked so hard to protect.”

Liron and Richad’’s Chuppah ceremony and reception were held in the gardens of Springfield House Function Centre.
