Arpana and Rob's Park Hyatt wedding day has all the trappings of a quintessential Sydney wedding. Starting from the bride getting ready at the swish Sofitel in Darling Harbour to the couple's wedding ceremony and reception at one of Sydney's luxury hotels, the Park Hyatt. But what really made Arpana and Rob's wedding truly special was the palpable emotion throughout the day.

Arpana was joined by her sisters and close family during her bridal preparation. It's always special when the parents first see their daughter in her bridal gown. Apana, looking beautiful and elegant in her wedding dress, couldn't help but shed a few tears before she leaves for her ceremony. Rob was waiting for Arpana at the Park Hyatt, and during the ceremony, and he too was overcome with intense emotion, that he couldn't help but get teary. I love capturing emotions like this - those unscripted moments that get into the heart of your wedding story.

A few family photos were done in front of the Park Hyatt. Rain clouds were threatening to fall but thankfully held long enough for us to complete our couple photoshoot at The Rocks. As always, The Rocks was a photographer's playground with plenty of beautiful architecture for their wedding couple portraits. Arpana had the right idea to change into a pair of thongs in place of her high heels during the photoshoot! We rejoined the guests at Park Hyatt for a cocktail wedding celebration and more tears flowed during the speech at the reception. Finally, Arpana and Rob shared a very moving and emotional first dance followed by the guests breaking it down to start the party.
