Nelson Bay Golf Club Wedding
KIRSTY & MITCHELL
Kirsty & Mitchell’s wedding at Nelson Bay Golf Club was witnessed by 7 guests and as Kirsty described the wedding day to me, “Our ceremony will be short and simple as we are not having a traditional wedding or reception.” Short and simple it may have been, but it definitely wasn’t short on all those beautiful feelings! It was especially touching when Kirsty’s daughter walked her mum down the aisle.
For their intimate wedding ceremony, the couple chose Nelson Bay Golf Club in the beautiful Port Stephens to exchange their wedding vows. With its backdrop of dedicated bushland on the golf course, it was a perfect place for a very personalised celebration.
Elopement weddings in Port Stephens are gaining popularity with couples who want to say ‘I do’ without all the fuss that comes with traditional wedding. And with Port Stephens’ close proximity to Sydney, it’s a perfect getaway for couples and their family and friends.
After Kirsty & Mitchell’s wedding ceremony, we headed out to one of Port Stephens amazing locations for their couple wedding photos. Birubi Beach, with its landscape of beach, sand dunes and rocks always look breathtaking, especially at sunset! Add to it the camels that made their appearance just in time during Kirsty and Mitchell’s couple portrait shoot – the whole setting just makes you dream.
Congratulations to Kirsty and Mitchell on your beautiful wedding! Thank you for allowing me to be part of it and capture all the unforgettable moments!
We always enjoy working with local Port Stephens wedding suppliers, and for this intimate wedding, we give credits to Sitting Pretty Wedding Hire who styled Kirsty & Mitchell’s wedding ceremony and reception, A Beautiful Occasion for the wedding bouquet and flowers hairpieces, Ursula Lhotka, the celebrant and Empire Artistries for Hair and Makeup.
