Overlooking the bay and close to Rocky Point Island, it is set in a very picturesque area hence, the popularity of the rotunda for weddings.

The stretch of Balmoral Beach features various areas available for wedding ceremony hire including the foreshore, Edwards Beach, Rosherville Reserve, Pearl Beach, Clifton Gardens and Reservoir Park (behind Boronia House) and the Balmoral South Reserve.
