Is it possible to have a country wedding without going too far away from Sydney? Yes! Belgenny Farm in Camden is everything that you imagine if you're dreaming of a rustic, country-style wedding, but without the long-distance travel. This historic place provides plenty of spots for amazing wedding photographs from rural landscapes, woodsheds and gardens.

Karren & Jeffrey’s religious Filipino ceremony was held at St Gabriel’s Church in Bexley and it incorporated Filipino wedding traditions of the coins (a symbol that they would mutually support each other), the veil (which symbolises the couple being clothed as one), the cord (a symbol of their bond) and the candles (lighting their path as they embark on their new life).

Another Filipino tradition that we learned is that if you don’t want rain on your wedding day, you should offer eggs to St. Clara who is the patron saint of good weather. It worked!

As a nod to Jeff’s Chinese heritage, the couple held a Tea Ceremony for their Belgenny Farm wedding. The farm, built in the early XIX century, is a significant location for Australia’s agricultural history, and now serves as an amazing rustic location for wedding photography.
