Lauren and Phil’s wedding was the quintessential Sydney wedding. For their wedding reception, the couple chose one of my favourite Sydney Wedding venues – the elegant waterfront Zest at Point Piper in the eastern suburbs.
As many would agree, Sydney’s beauty comes from its diversity. No other city in the world can claim an amazing harbour, plethora of beaches, acres of gardens, historical lanes and one of the world’s most recognisable architectures all within your reach. All of these make Sydney wedding a haven for photographers!
Lauren and Phil’s wedding take advantage of Sydney’s amazing offerings. With crashing waves in the background, they exchanged their wedding vows in one of Sydney’s most breathtaking locations, the Bondi Icebergs at the world-famous Bondi Beach. The ceremony was both lighthearted and emotional and was joined by their closest families and friends under a marquee.
We had planned for a relax and casual bridal and couple wedding portrait session along the eastern suburbs coastal walk, but the weather wasn’t looking promising on the morning of the wedding and we were seriously considering to do our back-up plan instead. Amazingly, after the wedding ceremony at Bondi Ice Bergs, the rain stopped and the sun shone its rays just in time for the planned wedding bridal photos along the iconic eastern beaches coastal walk! And here we got plenty of breathtaking photos! Lauren and Phil were game enough to stand on the rocks to get the beautiful photo of them kissing with the surf in the background. I assure you that they were safe and the waves were far enough!
From there we went back to Zest Point Piper to continue their wedding celebration. The team at Zest Point Piper is always a pleasure to work with (not to mention, their mouthwatering gourmet food!)
