“Adventurous and fun loving with a zest for doing life and travel together” is how Bianca describes herself and Marcus as a couple. When asked why they chose the Southern Highlands Winery for their wedding destination (aside from the fact that the Southern Highlands is, hands down, one of Australia’s romantic locations), it is their love for life’s good things the main reason behind it.
“We love our wine – most of our anniversaries are spent at a winery (including Marcus’s proposal)! We are also both Italian and wanted an Italian themed wedding, so we chose this vineyard as it has Tuscan decor and feel, owned by an Italian. Also because we love the country and our honeymoon was in Tuscany so it all came together well!”
There were a few tears shed during their ceremony, as they reflected on their journey as a couple, at the same time lots of laughter. “We wanted a ceremony that was intimate with a lot of love and definitely some humour to keep it light hearted.”
More of Bianca and Marcus’ Southern Highlands Winery
Southern Highlands Winery wedding provided plenty of naturally beautiful spots for Bianca and Marcus’s wedding photographs. Yes, you could be forgiven for thinking that it was somewhere in the vineyards of Italy! As for the photoshoot itself, Bianca said, “It was great! I barely remember having to pose for photos which means there will be plenty of natural and candid wedding photographs, which is exactly what we wanted and asked for!”
It’s always interesting what couples remember the most of their wedding day afterwards. “It was such a whirlwind that went way too fast. But the one thing I remember is when Marcus and I took 10 minutes to take some photos at dusk and we stood back and looked at the wedding and day we had created that had everyone we love in the one room. It was a special moment and feeling.”
Any advice for future married to be? “Enjoy the process – even the stressful moments because it really is over all too soon and it is worth every second of the journey it took to get to the most amazing day of your life.”
Thank you Bianca and Marcus for allowing me to tell your story.
