Port Stephens Weddings

Port Stephens weddings can only be described as a perfect day in paradise. As a local photographer, I am more than happy to offer couples guidance regarding the timing of your wedding ceremony. Having an intimate knowledge of the best wedding locations around Port Stephens, and the best time to have your wedding photos taken ensure that you will make the most of your wedding photography.
With so many picturesque locations around the bay from Soldiers Point at one end all the way to Fingal Bay, Port Stephens is blessed with blue water, white sandy beaches, nature reserves and of course, wedding venues that suit wedding styles from extravagant to intimate and anything in between!
I love incorporating the beautiful natural surrounds that Port Stephens is known for in wedding images. Your wedding photographs should reflect your story, as well as the paradise setting that you have chosen for your wedding. A few weeks before your wedding, we will either meet in person or have a phone meeting about your wedding preparation. During this meeting, we will cover the timeline of your wedding, who will be present and a good idea where we will do the bride and groom portrait, as well as the bridal entourage photographs.
Getting Married in Port Stephens
Some of my favourite spots for Wedding photographs in Port Stephens are Corlette Beach near The Anchorage and of course, The Anchorage marina, Little Beach jetty just in front of the Little Beach Boathouse, the wild rock formations on Shoal Bay beach not far from the Shoal Bay Country Club.
The best place for sunset wedding photos is at the aptly named Sunset Beach at Soldier’s Point, which is just a stone’s throw away from Bannisters.
Farther along, at Fingal Bay, Barry Park there are plenty of secret spots for wedding photographs not far from Saltwater Restaurant.
For couples who are after nature and bush background, then you can’t go past Port Stephens’ Native Flora Garden at Nelson Bay. It is secluded, quiet and perfect any time of the day for wedding photographs.
Some venues also offer beautiful onsite opportunities for wedding photographs: Wongonella Estate and Murrays Brewery for their vineyard feel, Heaven Garden for its amazing gardens and water features
