I love the passion of the Nelson Bay Lighthouse’s volunteers. The ladies are always ready to lend a helping hand, and brides always appreciate their enthusiasm.

Nelson Bay Lighthouse was just the beginning of Nikki and Heath’s paradisiacal wedding in Port Stephens. After their wedding ceremony, we went to some of Port Stephens’ best locations for wedding photographs for their bridal party and couple portraits: Little Beach and Shoal Bay. In Port Stephens, you don’t have to go very far to find breathtaking locations for wedding photographs!

It was a perfectly Port Stephens wedding where the sky was just as blue as the water that surrounds it. Nikki and Heath chose another Port Stephen’s wedding favourite venue, and the most awarded restaurant in the bay: the Little Beach Boathouse.

Set right at the water, there is no better place in Port Stephens to have a cocktail or have a sip of your favourite wine while watching boats sail by at sunset than at Little Beach Boathouse. Nikki and Heath’s wedding reception was held at Little Beach Boathouse Restaurant and was stylishly decorated by the team of A Beautiful Occasion.
