Beachside Dojo Manly Wedding of Isabel & Chris’s was a long-awaited welcome to summer. The couple, being outdoor-loving people, chose Little Manly Point Park in Sydney for their garden ceremony and Beachside Dojo in Manly for their wedding reception. Isabel & Chris wanted the ceremony to be in a park and for the reception to feel very open and light.
“We got married under a beautiful big tree with a view of the water and the city in the background.” The couple were intimately surrounded by their closest friends and family and with white petals, strewn along the green grass, it was a picture of summer elegance.
The atmosphere of the ceremony was very joyful with lots of laughs and a few tears. The couple opted to write their own vows to make it more personal.
Emotions were also running high during the bridal preparation. This part of the wedding day is always a favourite: a mixture of nervous anticipation, laughter and tears. It’s perfect time to capture moments that are naturally beautiful and sometimes, fleeting. When Isabel’s father took a peek of his daughter, who was about to be a bride, they both could not help but cry. It was beautiful thing to see the palpable bond between a daughter and her father.
Real moment such as this is what makes weddings unforgettable and special.
As the sun was setting, the relaxed yet elegant feel continued on at their reception at Beachside Dojo in Manly. It is uniquely located at a spectacular vantage point on Manly’s beach front and offers water views in a private and tranquil setting. Isabel & Chris chose this venue for its relaxed vibe, delicious food and great outlook.
It’s always a nice touch to have your close friends do something special for you at your wedding. This time, Isabel & Chris shared their first dance as husband and wife with the music played by their friends.
