Florent Vidal’s approach to family photos is to show your family’s playful interplay and the bond you share. The photographs are joyful, and document you having fun – it’s about capturing the natural interaction between you and your loved ones.

We also know how special it is to have everyone together for a family reunion, a milestone celebration or a family holiday, and we’d like it to be memorable for you when you book a family portrait experience.

An extended family shoot (also known as ‘multi-generational family photo’) is about creating beautiful images of your whole family from the very young to the young at heart!

Your Family Photo Session

A family portrait is a 60-minute session that is captured spontaneously as you walk along a beach or a park at a location of your choice. If you have a family event like a milestone birthday or anniversary, we will capture your family’s celebration and have some family portraits.

Prior to your family session, we will consult with you on the look and feel that you’re after. Your family’s favourite place may just be the perfect backdrop for your family photos!

We have so many great locations and we’re always happy to suggest some of our favourites for a family photo session around Newcastle, Port Stephens, Nelson Bay or Hawks Nest to name a few.
