Dunbar House Watsons Bay

DUNBAR HOUSE WATSONS BAY

A quintessential Sydney wedding at Dunbar House Watsons Bay…

Sian & Daniel’s was the the classic Sydney wedding. It was clear that they wanted to have fun and fully enjoy their wedding. For them a wedding is not only about the theme or the flowers or the decoration, but it was about two people who are in love and making a lifetime commitment.

Putting the best of Sydney has to offer on show, the couple exchanged their wedding vows at The Garrison Church at The Rocks. After the ceremony Sian & Daniel walked along Sydney’s historic quarter for their couple portrait shoot. They enjoyed a private moment, before their joining their guests, with a boat ride along the Harbour to their reception at Dunbar House, Watsons Bay.

MORE FROM FLORENT…

More about Sian & Daniel’s wedding at Dunbar House Watsons Bay…

From the moment I met Sian & Daniel, I knew that I found in them a kindred spirit. It was clear that they only had one thing in mind for their wedding and that is to have fun! They wanted to embrace all the emotions that their wedding day will bring and they understand that a wedding is a day of the beginning of a lifetime commitment. It fills me with joy when I meet clients who believe as I do: that a wedding is about two people in love celebrating in front of their friends and family. The pretty details and the themes are only secondary to this.

As much as Sian & Daniel, appreciate good photography, they were adamant that they didn’t want their wedding to be a photoshoot. And this is great for me who loves documenting the wedding day as naturally as possible!

After their church ceremony at The Garrison Church in Sydney’s The Rocks, we explored this historic quarter and created some great photos. Most of the time, I was just letting them enjoy their first moments as husband and wife and merely capturing their interactions.

Before joining the guests a Dunbar House, Watsons Bay, Sian & Daniel hired a private jet boat to take them from Sydney Harbour to Watsons Bay. What an amazing trip it was for the couple!
