Point Piper Yacht Club: A beautiful wedding story
Point Piper Yacht Club: Samantha and David’s wedding, and their three boys
How many of us would have loved to have been there at our parents’ wedding? I have seen my own parent’s wedding photographs plenty of time and always I wonder, what was their day like? They looked so young (only 21 and 22), the day was celebrated in their village in the South of France where I also grew up. How I wish I have a time machine and go back!
Samantha and David’s three boys: Lachlan, Max and Liam were lucky enough to be part of their parents’ wedding day. I think it really made the day extra special and you could really feel the love and bond this family share.
The boys and their Dad got ready together at their family home, while Samantha had her bridal preparation at Intercontinental Double Bay.
Their beautiful outdoor ceremony was held at McKell Park at Darling Point. Samantha was walked down the aisle with one of her boys, and clearly, his pride was showing! Look at that smile…
And when it was time for signing the marriage license all three boys were first to congratulate and give a hug to Mum and Dad.
We took advantage of the nice afternoon light to make the most Samantha and David’s couple portrait (see more tips on “How to make the most of your wedding photo location shoot.”) at McKell Park, Darling Point.
They later joined their guests at Zest, Point Piper Yacht Club for their wedding reception. It’s always nice to be back at Zest for a wedding! The amazing views, outstanding cuisine and world class service never change.
Here are the guests enjoying the canapés and water views at Zest before the formal dinner reception…
WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING ABOUT YOUR WEDDING!
